Here is a quick, easy, delicious recipe that I have used several times when I want to have something special but don't have the time or energy to get creative. Every time I use this recipe I am asked to share it. I would like to submit this for you and your family to enjoy when you are pushed for time. Unfortunately I am what some people label a "dump cook" and I can never tell you the exact amount to use but don't let that stop you from trying this delicious dinner. Let me know what your family and/or guests say.
Sesame/Teriyaki FriChik
You will need the following: Worthington FriChik (I use the 2#, 10 oz. can)
Very, Very Teriyaki Sauce
Sesame Seeds
The Wizards - Vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce
9x9 Baking Dish
Non-stick spray
- Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees.
- Prepare your baking dish with non-stick spray
- Slice the FriChik in half (lengthwise by width) then into long strips
- Place FriChik in baking dish
- Cover with 1/3 - ½ bottle of teriyaki sauce
- Sprinkle 1-2 Tb Sesame seeds
- Shake 1-2 Tb Worcestershire Sauce
- Fold together to mix all ingredients well
- Slow bake for about 1-1/2 hours
Enjoy with steamed brown rice, steamed broccoli, carrot and celery sticks, and a tossed green salad.
